Please note: with effect from 04 August 2016 as per instruction received from Embassy of Spain, needs to be duly filled in by the Applicant/Travel Agent/Authorized representative and needs to be submitted along with the Visa Application. Please note it's mandatory to provide the same and is applicable for all Thailand.

Application Form: Application for Schengen Visa.
• Original Application form for Schengen Visa duly filled in and signed by the applicant in blue ball point ink.
• Recent photographs (35-45 mm not over 6 months) of the applicant with white background must be attached in the application form.
• The application form must be correctly filled, facilitating all the possible information requested in the form including postal address, email address and telephone number.

Passport
• Passport of the applicant with at least two blank pages, which should be valid for at least 06 months before submission

Occupations
• Original employment letter (not more than 1 month)
• Company registration (not more than 3 month)
• Original student certificate

For Foreigners
• Applicants have to show original and copy work permit, re-entry visa , and permit to stay (must be valid before coming back to Thailand)

In case of minors (below 20 years)
• The application form must be signed by both the parents.
• In case the minor (below 20 years) is traveling without parents/guardians or by either of the parents, need to provide the consent letter issued by the district & legalized by The Ministry of Foreign Affairs
• Submission of Birth certificate (issued in English and legalized by The Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
• Covering letter from the applicant, explaining in detail the purpose of the visit. All cover letters must include details of any other accompanying persons as well. This includes family members, friends or business associates travelling for the same purpose.

Financial Means
• Original Personal bank statements of the applicant for last 6 months for Embassy of Spain, Bangkok with the original stamp and signature of authorized signatory of the bank along with original bank certificate (Saving account only) All the applicants need to provide as it is mandatory
• Online Bank statements are not acceptable.

Invitation Letter
• Invitation letter issued by the Spanish Company in Spanish language or both in English and Spanish. This will be an obligatory requirement. Spanish company /companies inviting the applicant, explaining the purpose of the present visit and the nature of existing commercial relationship.
• Covering letter from the applicant, explaining in detail the purpose of the visit, all cover letters must include details of any other accompanying persons as well. This includes family members, friends or business associates travelling for the same purpose
• For participation in conferences, sports events or cultural activities, invitation for the same must be submitted. All other documents to justify the purpose of the visit must als be attached.

Financial Means
• Original Personal bank statements of the applicant for last 6 months for Embassy of Spain, Bangkok with the original stamp and signature of authorized signatory of the bank along with original bank certificate (Saving account only). All the applicants need to provide as it is mandatory
• Online Bank statements are not acceptable.

Hotel and Flight ticket
• Hotel bookings for the entire duration of stay in English or Spanish only (Must be shown all applicant’s name)
• Round trip reservation of flight ticket or Proofs of transport in English or Spanish only (Mentioning all the applicant’s name)
• Departure date is not more than 6 months

Insurance
• Proof of travel insurance with a minimum coverage of 30,000 Euros to cover any expense which might arise in connection with repatriation for medical reasons, urgent medical attention and /or emergency hospital treatment. The insurance must be valid throughout the territory of the Member States.
• The duration of the insurance cover must include the entire period of stay after the proposed date of departure out of the Schengen territory

For Family visa applications
Applicants are requested to submit proof of family relations with the principal applicant as an additional document with the visa application, for example
For Spouse - Marriage certificate
For Children - Birth certificate

Kindly note that if the documents are in any regional language, they must be translated to English or Spanish by any language institute with official stamp and signature of the translation institute/agency.

Any other document that the applicant may consider appropriate to support his/her application.

Applications accepted at the Spain Visa Application Centre will be submitted on the next working day at the Embassy of Spain/Consulate General of Spain. Once the application has been submitted, the applicant can be further requested additional documentation in support of the same. Please note as per the instructions received from Embassy of Spain minimum processing time is 15 working days (It may delay depending on case to case).

All applications must be submitted at least 15 days prior to the proposed date of travel to accommodate any unforeseen processing delays.

Processing time will start excluding the date of submission of application at BLS International Services.

Applicants submitting the applications with short processing time will be required to fill up the Declaration form.
